Resumen

Este artículo analiza con cifras la evolución de las subidas arancelarias unilaterales y discriminatorias aplicadas por EE UU a lo largo de 2018 y 2019, así como las represalias impuestas por sus socios comerciales. A continuación, se presenta la evidencia empírica que cuantifica el impacto económico de la guerra comercial, prestando especial atención a las complicaciones que añade la presencia de cadenas globales de valor en el comercio actual.
