Resumen
The solutions' pH is very important in the contact lens fitting and use; following this, in this work we determined the pH of hydrogen peroxide solutions. The study were carried out over a 32 days period to investigate the pH fluctuations of five one step peroxide solutions. The pH of the solutions was measured using a micropH 2002 Crison pH-meter, this instrument gives us precise readings (±0.001 pH units accuracy). All the solutions tested presented pH values, after the neutralization cycle, within the ocular comfort range during the testing period but these values were not close to the tear's pH (7.45 pH units), only Novoxy solution showed a similar pH value (7.38 pH units).
