Abstract
Once considered trade unions’ weakness and their reduced capability in order to organize industrial action, this paper analyzes the possible key factors that could offer an explanation to this reality. On one hand, the paper takes into account the impact of economic crisis. On the other hand, deals with the phenomena related with the transformation of the productive model (globalization; outsourcing; digitization) and its present and –above all- future impact on trade unions’ organizations
