Abstract
We present a proposal about using the economic language in the discussion of math-ematical concepts when teaching mathematics to undergraduate students of Economy-related degrees. We describe the role that economic statements can play in our opinion as an aid to teaching and evaluating the students. We present some examples of exercises and tests according to our proposal, which have been used by the authors in a semester course in the Faculty of Economics of Valencia University.
