Résumé
Ciudadanos is a new political party in Spain but it has a previous Catalan trajectory. In this article we analyse the reasons for its emergence and success at both levels and in two sequences. We also deal with its organisation, leadership, ideology and its electoral support and membership. In so doing we pay close attention to the role played by the multi-level structure of the Spanish political system.
