Abstract
The current work aim at commenting briefly the outstanging figure and work of Maimónides and, more, particularly, his introduction to the The Guide for the Perplexed, as well as the encountered fears that he found among his people, He heavily influenced the ulterior Christian scholastic (Albert Magnus, Saint Thomas Aquinas, Master Eckhart). We conclude with a detailed analysis of the letter sent to his disciple R. Yosef ben Yehudá ibn Άknín.
