Abstract
Auralization of virtual spaces allows to analyze, compare and predict their acoustic behaviour under different conditions in order to improve it. This is an interesting study in any room but especially when it comes to heritage buildings. This paper studies the acoustic particularities of the Basilica de Santa María d’Elx, scene of the Misteri, under normal conditions and when it is enabled for the play. We have used a singing recorded in a controlled and studied environment to obtain the auralization of the anechoic signal. In the paper, it is presented the obtained recording for a single voice. For this purpose, the recording has been processed, filtering the characteristics of the recording room (at each point) which will allow to obtain the real/ anechoic sound emitted in the religious performance.
