Résumé
Leishmaniasis comprises a group of parasitic diseases caused by different Leishmania species, that can lead to different clinical presentations as visceral, cutaneous and mucocutaneous leishmaniasis, each being endemic to specific geographical areas. In mucocutaneous leishmaniasis the lesions are mutilating and tend to affect the nasal, pharyngeal and oral mucosas. The palate in particular is involved in the oral presentation. We present the case of a patient with two tumor lesions- one in each cheek- diagnosed of mucocutaneous leishmaniasis following histopathological study.
