Resumo
Trigeminal sensorial neuropathies are characterized by deficiencies and changes of sensitive functions appearing clinically as numbness in the cutaneous mucosa inervated by the branches of the trigeminal nerve. This lack of sensitivity there may or may not be accompanied by pain. Trigeminal neuropaties can be a result of traumas, tumors, diseases of connective tissue, infections, desmielinizants, others or idiopathics. These complaints often mean a difficult differencial diagnostic problem, as there are many conditions that may produce them, also the possibility of a neoplasia has to be taken into account. In this article we present a study of 31 patients with trigeminal neuropathy, analyzing the clinical, ethiological and therapeutic characteristics.
