Abstract

This paper aims at analyze the position of the right to self-image (privacy) of the defendant engaged in criminal proceedings. As an important determinant variables, is the principle of public prosecutions, and freedom of information, dimensioned by audiovisual media, frequently collide with the interest or rights of the accused, and in particular his right to self-image (privacy) in order to the possibility of being recognized and related to criminal acts. The focus will be on how concrete in practice the principle of public justice, and his confrontation with freedom of information and the right to privacy
