Resumen

Este estudio trata de identificar características, valores y comportamientos de la cultura organizativa que impulsan u obstaculizan la innovación a partir de un estudio empírico de carácter exploratorio sobre tres compañías. Nuestros resultados ratifican el papel clave de los directivos senior a la hora de fomentar la innovación. Uno de los resultados concluye que se puede mantener una cultura proclive a la innovación sin necesidad de disfrutar de una estructura organizativa flexible y orgánica. Los resultados de nuestro análisis empírico avalan la tesis de que cierto grado de rigidez y jerarquización no invalidan los componentes típicos de una cultura innovadora.
