Las Born Global: Empresas de Acelerada Internacionalización

Resumo

The born global is a group of small and medium sized entrepreneurial companies that show an accelerated internationalization process, that is, they start their commercial activity in world markets just as they are born or in a period very close to their conception. These companies enter new markets paying no attention to, or disregarding some of the steps of the traditional gradual or stepwise internationalization process known as the �Uppsala model�. They are dynamizing entities of their economies that contribute to the economic development of their countries, as long as the essential operating climate, conditions and infrastructure are created to allow them attain a sustained development in their exports. This article attempts to characterize the born global companies starting from the definitions, characteristics, sustainability and their choice of ingress mode to global markets.
