Polaridades y ambivalencias ante el nuevo escenario agrarioun estudio con estudiantes de Formación Profesional Agraria de la Comunidad Valenciana

Abstract

Nowadays the agrarian world is experiencing a deep transformation motivated by the processes of liberalization of the agrarian markets impelled by the World Trade Organization (WTO). Within this general frame, the aim of this paper is to analyse the degree in which students of agrarian activities in the Valencian land perceive that they are in a socioeconomic context of change in which emerges a new structure that offers several opportunities and threats to them. That aim is carried out trough the analysis of problems they attribute to agriculture and of institutions that greater confidence deserve to them to try to resolve the mentioned problems. The work is based on the data of a survey to the complete universe of students of the agrarian activities in the Valencian land.
