Abstract

The roman temple at Claudio Marcelo St was discovered in the 50's of lost century. At first, it was considered an isolated monument but after it was thought as a port of a great complex beginning in Claudian times and finishing by the Flavian emperors. The complex, containing the temple and its square, a second square at a lower level and a circus, was devoted to the imperial cult and has been identified as the forum provinciae.
