Abstract

Based on electoral documents disseminated by the political parties in the 2004 General Elections, proposals and initiatives on the ICT migration towards the school system, which were suggested to the electorate, are examined. Here the concept of «migration», not only the one of «integration», is used in a strong sense: as a displacement, but also as a «repulsive element» that transforms the place of reception. Following the inspection of the programmes, it can be stated that the majority of the parties defend the first option (i.e. migration), whereas integration is relegated to the background, in contrast with what occurred in the 2000 Elections. In addition, the political reach of the transformations that ¿as a consequence of the migratory movement¿ the educational model is experiencing, is hardly brought up.
