Resumen

Algunas teorías (Feustel, Shiffrin y Salasoo, 1983) defienden el punto de vista de que el conocimiento semántico es de origen episódico. Existen datos contradictorios para apoyar éste punto de vista, aunque en tareas de pronunciación de palabras parece estar bien establecida la obtención de facilitación episódica en una tarea de memoria semántica. Después de revisar alguno de estos datos presentamos dos experimentos que intentan determinar el tipo de transferencia que puede obtenerse después de presentaciones repetidas de estímulos que están relacionados episódicamente.
