Efectos de la administración aguda de mk-801, antagonista no competitivo de los receptores nmda, sobre la evitación activa en ratones

Resum

MK-801 es una dibenzocicloheptenimina con antagonismo no-competitivo del receptor NMDA (N-metil-D-aspartato). En este experimento se estudian los efectos del MK-801 (O.3, 0.1, 0.003 y 0.001 mg/kg) sobre la evitación activa en ratones Balb/c/JIco. La sesión experimental constó de 60 ensayos en los que se utilizó la luz (10 seg) como EC y shock eléctrico débil (0.28 mA) como EI (10 seg). Los resultados mostraron que la latencia de respuesta fue significativamente más baja en los grupos tratados con 0.1 y 0.3 mg/kg. El número de evitaciones disminuyó únicamente en el grupo tratado con 0.3 mg/kg aunque esta dosis también produjo estereotipias e hiperactividad. Se sugiere que el rango de dosis entre 0.1 y 0.3 mg/kg parece ser el más adecuado en este modelo conductual.
