Abstract

Work values are items that must be taken into account when taking decissions converning tothe vocational options, since the work value hierarchy that a person has is going to affect himor her at the time of choosing a kind of study or when choosing a profession. In order to find out people’s value hierarchy many authors have made different tests classifications and workvalue scales, but most of the values they have are common to all of them, although they can appear under another name. In order to check this we have conducted a review comparison of the most used work value scales, taking as reference Super (1970) work value scale. This rewiew has allowed us to build our own work value scale, developed as a part of SAAV(standing in Spanish for Counseling and Vocational Sel Guidance System).
