Zusammenfassung

The aim of this paper is to present the results of an analysis and mapping of the social innovation initiatives that have emerged in the city of Valencia in recent years. Through fieldwork and mainly qualitative techniques (interviews, questionnaires to qualified informants), the initiatives of this type that are currently active have been compiled and analyzed, analyzing their typology, chronology and geographical location. The results show the great thematic diversity existing, as well as its relationship with the demands perceived by the population and their connection to neighborhoods with young population and areas consolidated with participatory tradition, such as Ciutat Vella, Benimaclet and Marítim.
