Resumen
Most of the studies about the depuration of the professorate during the franquismo that have been published until now, pointed to their involvement in a progressive education as the cause of the sanctions. But the research that we are carrying out about the professors of Normal School in the Valencian Country makes us wonder if the progressive education has been a decision-making charge when it comes to impose the sanctions, because trough the analysis of their teaching practices, their works and their depuration process, we have come to the conclusion that the progressive education have been common to teachers from oposite ideologies and in any case was pointed as a charge against them. Therefore it is our intencion to share this data in order to start a discussion that allow us to approach their reality.
