Abstract

The quantification of the proportion of energy that transmits in structural way is essential for the prediction of the acoustic isolation .The scheme suggested by the methodology SEA (Statistical Energy Analysis) it is present, of a more or less evident form, in all the methods of prediction. The velocity difference of vibration between the surfaces under study and the structural reverberation time they are two fundamental magnitudes. In this work, we carried out a small review of the basic concepts of SEA applicable to the stationary state and to the transitory process and we sense beforehand the methodology applied to determine the coupling loss factors corresponding to subsystems of interest in building acoustics as well as some experimental preliminary results obtained on a crosspiece of concrete.
