Resumen

Eating Disorders (ED) are serious mental illnesses with an important prevalence which require the involvement of different treatment strategies. The objective of this thesis is to analyze a series of relevant variables among patients diagnosed of ED, treated at different care contexts (health center (HC), day center (DC), 24-hour center (CCC)) and analyze the answer of these patients at such kind of treatment contexts. The sample was composed of 322 patients. Results showed that those diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa had lower weight and start at an earlier age. Patients diagnosed with Bulimia Nervosa were more likely to show comorbidity with Personality Limit Disorder and previous suicide attempts. Those patients first entering a HC and a CCC were older. Those entering a CCC suffered the problem for longer time and used a great number of treatment contexts. The patients' BMI raised in all cases, independently of their diagnosis.
