Résumé
This Thesis work is an introduction in research and intervention of vocational counseling, being a cognitive side on behaviour. It is based in a specific approach on the Personal Construct Kellys Theory. Its theoretical base focuses on behaviour and vocational counseling inside the Conductual-Cognitive view. From this view, self-help and counseling systems (SAAV) are obtained. One of the steps, Vocational Cognition, represents the core of this thesis. In this work, the cognitive approximations to Vocational Counseling are reviewed, and after that, this thesis concentrates in Vocational Constructivism and one of its vigorous branches, the one obtained from the Personal Construct Kellys Theory, which involves starting from own personal reality construction and it has the goal to make understandable the behaviour and world for the individual. The Grid is considered as a powerful assistant tool, which expands its utility with the inclusion of the derived cognitive indicators and its application. Regarding to this, the Testing/Applied part of this thesis presents five researchs, in which Cognitive Structure of Vocational Counseling is analysed and it is used Vocational Grid of SAAV for High School students. The inform processing contained in the Grid consolidates definitely its metric structure and it characterizes vocational constructs in general, shared and specific; It also allows to propose measures of structure which are useful for individual Vocational Counseling. The research for Cognitive Structure of Vocational World is expanded to University students, and it includes Searching and Analysis for Vocational Identity (James Marcia approaching) but it uses a constructivist methodology based on a grid tool for individual application. Finally, it is presented a research on the links between vocational constructs and labour situation.
