Abstract
The present thesis is based on the study of the electronic document and its relation with the traditional document concept. For it, a brief analysis of the Compared Law is made, to later center in the procedural perspective of the electronic document and its problematic as an evidence in the process. Also, a study of the present legislation is carried out (examining it always from a procedural point of view), and a reference to the effectiveness of the electronic document for its implantation in the scope of the public Administrations, with special reference to the Administration of Justice. Finally, the subject of electronic documents as mechanism for the beginning of the process is approached; in particular, the electronic exchange titles as a form of beginning the “monitorio” and “cambiario” procedures.
