Zusammenfassung
In this paper we present some of the results obtained in a study about the acoustic characteristics of an electromagnetic anechoic chamber, with working frequency greater than 1 GHz. The objective of the study was the evaluation of the acoustical performances of the chamber, i.e. its behavior as an acoustical semi-anechoic chamber. Measured results are presented for the absorption of the electromagnetic absorbing material, the reverberation time, and results from a model of ray tracing. A good agreement is observed between measurements and results from the ray-tracing model.
