Abstract

El presente trabajo analiza el sorteo como procedimiento de adopción de decisiones públicas. El artículo se abre con un marco descriptivo, que define y clasifica los diferentes tipos de sorteos. A continuación, presenta las finalidades perseguidas por esta técnica de decisión, y analiza sus principales ventajas e inconvenientes. El estudio se cierra con un epígrafe de carácter propositivo, en el que, mediante algunos ejemplos, se reivindica la oportunidad de recurrir más frecuentemente a este procedimiento de adopción de decisiones jurídico-públicas.
