Abstract

In the last years, many countries have passed legislation to protect minors more effectively in the digital environment, particularly in social networks and against pornographic content. This study analyzes the main lines of this new generation of protective rules, comparing them with the lines that inspired the first generation rules. The focus is on US and European regulations, both at federal, EU and state level.
