Abstract

As a result of the approval of the Organic Law of Modification of the LOE (LOMLOE) and the beginning of the process of concretizing its development, 33 Spanish societies and organizations related to Earth Sciences signed a manifesto for an adequate presence of Geology in the curriculum that was sent to the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training and to all the parliamentary political groups, in May 2021. The objective, now, of its publication as a paper, is that the diagnosis, reflections and proposals contained in the manifesto we think that may still be valid and interesting for state and regional educational authorities and, also, to promote a debate on the importance of geological content in pre-university levels of Education.
