Abstract

The Gertsenshtein effect, discovered in 1962, produced some work, in the seventies, about the possibility of generating, and detecting, high frequency gravitational waves. Unfourtunately, the efficiency of the generator imagined, a cavity resonator, was too small, many orders bellow the observability threshold. In this contribution we discuss the foundation of a wave generator that could produce gravitatinal waves with amplitude major than the detection's threshold.
