Abstract

This volume, which brings together a set of studies in homage to Professor Gemma Avenoza Vera, aims to be, above all, a testimony of friendship, as well as to preserve the memory of the research activity of an enthusiastic person dedicated to examining medieval codices and the first printed volumes. The works collected here are interested in the study of the book in its multifaceted diversity, analysed from the point of view of disciplinary traditions such as archivistics, codicology, philology, art history, incunabulistics and palaeography. The subjects studied converge in the research space of the Hispanic Medieval Book Network, called for by different scholarly disciplines and to whose definition Dr. Avenoza made a decisive contribution.
