Abstract
This article summarises the work of a small team of university teachers who, for several years, have been developing various multimedia teaching materials for the subject “Statistics for Economics” (University of Valencia). On the one hand, these materials seek to facilitate and complement the development of those skills which are intended to be practised by the students of the subject; and the other hand, they try to encourage and promote the students ́ autonomous learning and self-assessement, which are key factors in education for the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
