Abstract

La Sierra de Albarracín (or Comunidad de Albarracín) is an Aragonese historical region in the Southwest of de province of Teruel wich is located on the borderline between Castilla and Aragon. The aim of this study is the description and analysis (phonetic, morphosyntactic, lexical) of the spoken Spanish in that region (its geographical variety). Furthermore, this study survey focuses on the social factors of the speakers and their colloquial register, the one they use more frequently. These elements are mixed together in their everyday discourse. Several linguistic-cultural manifestations by the speakers are also examined and the dialectal interview is characterized, from a pragmalinguistic point of view, as a method of study.
